Another brand new exciting project for fermenTABLE!
We’re thrilled to announce that Catalina from FermenTable will be running a brand new workshop at The Dovecote Cellar, part of the fabulous Burwash Manor complex. The event will take place on Sunday the 22nd of June 2025.
This workshop is an opportunity to learn about fermented food and wine tasting at the same time. You will learn about the benefits of fermented food for your gut microbiome. You will also learn how fermented food reduces inflammation, postbiotics and the effect in the gut-brain axis.
The session includes a tasting session where you will taste a wide variety of fermented food including kombucha, water kefir, sauerkrauts, fermented condiments, fermented chocolates as well as sampling some fermented wine from Dovecote Cellar.
Taught by experienced fermentation enthusiast, this workshop will cover the science behind fermentation, as well as practical tips and techniques for getting started at home. You’ll have the opportunity to taste a variety of fermented foods and drinks, ferment something of your own during the workshop and take the jar home to enjoy. No prior experience necessary, all welcome!
